Am I the only one that was reading the Facebook messages in neo's voice. This sucks! Im jus playing bro it was dope. 🤘🏼🤘🏼. I unfortunately saw this because of my mother wanting to see it. It's horrible. And you're right on everything. It's a nice goofy romantic comedy. Acting is good, scenes are good. Fun to watch.
It's might be the best romantic comedy in last 2 years... This movie is SO bad. I watched to see whether it'd get better, but noooooo, it doesn't. It really doesn't! 🤮. I was expecting a romantic comedy and I was not disappointed.A very fun and surprising recommended. This film was hilarious. I use IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes to judge films before I watch and this is the only time in thousands that the reviews dont match the reality.
I can only assume that the poor reviews are from cultures outside of the UK that just dont get English humour.

This movie looks so British, my water just turned into woootaah. Awww they are so so so sweet. Exactly what we need in this quarantine. The remake of a french movie plan de table. Shira, the main actress who played here, gave one of the best performances I've ever seen! She's outstanding! You should really see this guys. This was such an awesome watch. thank you NETFLIX for bringing this piece of art to us. hats off to Shira Haas for portraying this role so well. you go girl. WOW. we need more fearless works like these.

I write this as a Brit, having watched comedies and satire that have defined American series, I often regard the Americans to have only stolen a small percentage of our humour.
As such, I am not entirely sure the Americans amongst the watching audience will entirely 'get' the humour but that's okay, they can admire the quaintness of it and the girls can admire Sam Claflin.
The humour is very deadpan and subtle, no slipping on bananas skins for the yanks to be seen here for their kicks.
Lovely film with stunning locations and solid actors making the most of the script as it is. Some very funny scripted moments and actually some very awkward ones too.
Good watch for a weekday evening and good to watch on a 4K TV if you have one that is big enough.
